Carolina Hurricanes Lines Shuffle Ahead of Game 4

Andersen to Start in Net

Canes Look to Even Series

The Carolina Hurricanes are set to shuffle their lines slightly ahead of Game 4 of their Eastern Conference Final series against the New York Rangers.

The most notable change is the return of Freddie Andersen to the starting lineup. Andersen has been out since Game 3 of the second round with a lower-body injury.

Other changes to the lineup include:

  • Andrei Svechnikov moving to the top line with Sebastian Aho and Teuvo Teravainen
  • Nino Niederreiter moving to the second line with Martin Necas and Jesper Fast
  • Jordan Staal centering the third line with Seth Jarvis and Jesperi Kotkaniemi

The Hurricanes are looking to even the series after dropping the first two games in New York. Game 4 is scheduled for Monday night in Raleigh.

The Hurricanes are also expected to make some changes to their defensive pairings. Tony DeAngelo is expected to return to the lineup after missing the last two games with an injury.

The Hurricanes are hoping that these lineup changes will help them get back on track and tie the series.
